                                        Ingredients:
•	1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
•	8 oz whole-wheat spaghetti or linguine
•	4 tablespoons butter
•	4 cloves garlic, minced
•	1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
•	Juice of 1 lemon
•	Red pepper flakes, to taste
•	Salt and pepper, to taste
•	2 cups mixed steamed vegetables (such as broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers)
•	Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
•	Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
1.	Cook whole-wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2.	In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
3.	Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
4.	Pour in white wine or chicken broth and lemon juice. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
5.	Add cooked pasta to the skillet with the shrimp scampi sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly.
6.	Steam mixed vegetables until tender-crisp.
7.	Serve shrimp scampi over whole-wheat pasta, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and steamed vegetables on the side.
