Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients:
• 4 pork chops
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 cup applesauce (store-bought or homemade)
• 4 potatoes, peeled and diced
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 tablespoons butter
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 1 lb green beans, trimmed
Instructions:
• Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
• Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
• In the same skillet, add applesauce and heat through. Season with a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg if desired.
• Boil diced potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain well.
• Mash potatoes with milk, butter, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
• Steam or boil green beans in salted water until tender-crisp, about 5 minutes. Drain.
• Plate pork chops with a spoonful of applesauce on top. Serve alongside mashed potatoes and green beans.
