Recipe Instructions:
Ingredients:
• 8 oz dried Chinese wheat noodles
• 1/2 lb ground pork
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
• 2 tablespoons chili oil
• 2 tablespoons sesame paste or peanut butter
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon minced ginger
• 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
• 2 green onions, thinly sliced
• Crushed peanuts (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet or wok, brown ground pork over medium-high heat until cooked through.
3. Add minced garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Stir in soy sauce, rice wine, chili oil, and sesame paste (or peanut butter).
5. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5-7 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
6. Add cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
7. Serve Dan Dan noodles hot, garnished with sliced green onions and crushed peanuts if desired.
