• 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into sticks
• Vegetable oil for frying
• Salt to taste
Instructions:
o Rinse peeled potatoes under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels.
o Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
o Carefully add potato sticks in batches and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
o Remove fries with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
o Immediately sprinkle fries with salt while hot.
o Serve hot as a side dish or snack.
