                                        Ingredients:
•	1 whole chicken (about 3-4 lbs)
•	2 cups jasmine rice
•	4 cups chicken broth
•	3 slices ginger
•	2 cloves garlic, minced
•	2 tbsp sesame oil
•	Soy sauce
•	Salt and pepper to taste
•	Sliced cucumber and cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
1.	Rinse jasmine rice until water runs clear, then drain.
2.	In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger slices, sauté until fragrant.
3.	Add drained rice and stir for 1 minute.
4.	Pour in chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked and liquid is absorbed.
5.	Meanwhile, rub chicken with salt inside and out. Place chicken in a pot and add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
6.	Remove chicken from pot and plunge into ice water to cool quickly. Rub chicken with soy sauce.
7.	Cut chicken into pieces and serve over cooked rice. Garnish with sliced cucumber and cilantro.
