Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients:
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup water
• 2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
• 1/2 cup minced meat (optional, traditionally pork or beef)
• 1 small onion, finely chopped
• 1 tablespoon butter
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Sour cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
1. Prepare Dough: In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and water to form a dough. Knead until smooth and let rest for 30 minutes.
2. Prepare Filling: In a skillet, sauté onion in butter until soft. Combine with mashed potatoes and minced meat (if using). Season with salt and pepper.
3. Form Dumplings: Roll out dough thinly and cut into small squares. Place a small amount of filling in the center of each square. Fold over to form a triangle and pinch the edges to seal.
4. Cook Dumplings: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add Žlikrofi and cook for about 10-12 minutes or until they float to the surface. Drain.
5. Serve: Serve hot, optionally topped with sour cream.
