Recipe Instructions:
. Cozido à Portuguesa (Portugal)
• Ingredients:
o 100g beef (any cut), cubed
o 100g pork (any cut), cubed
o 1 chorizo sausage, sliced
o 1/2 cabbage, chopped
o 2 carrots, sliced
o 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
o 1 onion, chopped
o 2 cloves garlic, minced
o Salt and pepper to taste
o Water, as needed
• Instructions:
1. In a large pot, brown the beef and pork cubes over medium-high heat.
2. Add the chorizo, onion, and garlic. Sauté until onion is translucent.
3. Add enough water to cover the meat and bring to a boil.
4. Add carrots, potatoes, and cabbage. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 1.5-2 hours until meat and vegetables are tender and flavors meld.
