Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients:
• 1 Porterhouse steak, about 1.5 inches thick
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 2 tablespoons olive oil or clarified butter
• Optional: Garlic cloves, thyme sprigs, for flavoring
Instructions:
• Preheat grill or a heavy skillet over high heat. Season the Porterhouse steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
• Drizzle olive oil or clarified butter over the steak. Place the steak on the hot grill or skillet.
• For medium-rare, cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, flipping only once. Adjust cooking time based on desired doneness and thickness of the steak.
• During cooking, you can add garlic cloves and thyme sprigs to the skillet or grill for extra flavor.
• Remove the steak from heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
• Slice the Porterhouse steak across the bone into strips, and serve hot with your choice of sides or sauces.
