Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients:
• 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
• 1/2 cup cornstarch
• Oil for frying
For the sauce:
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
• 2 tbsp rice vinegar
• 3 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tbsp cornstarch
• 1/2 cup water
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
• 1-2 dried red chilies (optional for heat)
• Green onions, chopped for garnish
• Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
1. Toss chicken pieces in cornstarch until coated.
2. Heat oil in a deep skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
3. Fry chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, water, minced garlic, grated ginger, and dried red chilies (if using).
5. Pour sauce into the skillet or wok, bring to a simmer, and cook until thickened.
6. Add fried chicken pieces to the sauce, toss to coat evenly.
7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
