Ingredients:
• Sushi rice (prepared according to package instructions)
• Nori sheets
• Assorted fillings (e.g., avocado slices, cucumber strips, roasted vegetables, tofu strips)
• Soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger for serving
Instructions:
1. Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat or a clean kitchen towel.
2. Spread a layer of sushi rice evenly over the nori sheet, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
3. Arrange your choice of fillings in a line across the center of the rice.
4. Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat or towel, pressing gently as you roll.
5. Moisten the top border of the nori sheet with a little water to seal the roll.
6. Slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces using a sharp knife.
7. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
