Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients:
 1 lb ground beef
 1 onion, chopped
 2 cloves garlic, minced
 2 tablespoons chili powder
 1 teaspoon ground cumin
 1/2 teaspoon paprika
 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
 1 cup beef broth
 Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned.
2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Stir in chili powder, ground cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add tomato sauce and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
5. Reduce heat to low and simmer chili, uncovered, for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until flavors are blended and chili has thickened.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Serve chili con carne hot, garnished with shredded cheese, chopped onions, or sour cream if desired.
