Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients:
• 300g French green lentils
• 2 carrots (200g), diced
• 2 celery stalks (200g), chopped
• 1 onion (100g), chopped
• 2 garlic cloves (10g), minced
• 1 liter vegetable broth
• 2 bay leaves
• 100ml olive oil
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Fresh thyme (optional), for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, carrots, and celery. Sauté until softened.
2. Add the lentils, vegetable broth, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30-40 minutes, until the lentils are tender.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired and serve hot.
