Ingredients:

Ribeye steaks (1 per person, typically around 250-350 grams each)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil or butter
Instructions:

Preheat the Grill or Skillet:

Preheat a grill or heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
Prepare the Steaks:

Rub both sides of the ribeye steaks with olive oil or brush with melted butter.
Season generously with salt and pepper.
Cook the Steaks:

For medium-rare, grill or sear the ribeye for about 4-5 minutes per side. Adjust the cooking time based on thickness and your preferred doneness:
Rare: 3-4 minutes per side
Medium: 5-6 minutes per side
Well-done: 7-8 minutes per side
Rest the Steaks:

Remove the steaks from the grill or skillet and let them rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.
Serve:
