Ingredients
ginger 8.5 oz 241 g 1 1/2 cups chopped ginger
lemon (peeled) 8.2 oz 232 g 2 medium lemons
carrot 4.3 oz 122 g 2 medium carrots
turmeric 1.5 oz 43 g 15 slices (1" diameter)
cayenne 1 pinch ground
Directions
Wash the produce.
Peel the lemons and remove the carrot tops.
Weigh the ingredients.
Grind and press.
Mix a pinch of cayenne into each serving.
Pro Tips
Experiment with using peeled lemons and with leaving the peels on, notice the difference in flavor.
I like to remove the top ends of the carrots due to the fact that it’s tough to remove all the dirt.
Use this recipe as a base to create your own unique creation, try adding orange or beet, or use your favorite veggies or fruit.
If turmeric root is unavailable, you can sub ground turmeric. For every 1 ounce of turmeric root, use 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
