Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients
1 pound asparagus spears
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Rinse the spears and cut off the end pieces. I take a sharp knife and cut where it starts to “give”, cutting off the hard ends.
Put spears on a foil lined baking pan. Drizzle olive oil over spears and toss them a bit to coat them well. Use your hands if you need to.
Combine salt, pepper and garlic powder and sprinkle over asparagus. It goes on much more evenly if you combine them first. I use my hands for this step too. It goes on nice and evenly when held between my fingers and sprinkled on.
Roast in a preheated 375* oven for 12 minutes.
Remove from oven to sprinkle parmesan cheese over spears. Roast another 3 minutes or so, depending on how crisp you like them.
Serve and enjoy
