Ingredients:
1 turkey steak (about 6-8 oz): Approximately 170-225 grams
2 tablespoons soy sauce: 30 grams
1 tablespoon honey: 20 grams
1 garlic clove, minced: Approximately 3-5 grams
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger: Approximately 1 gram
1 tablespoon vegetable oil: 15 grams
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Teriyaki Sauce:
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Marinate the Turkey Steak:
Place the turkey steak in a shallow dish and pour the teriyaki sauce over it.
Ensure the turkey steak is well coated with the sauce.
Marinate for 15-20 minutes.
Cook the Turkey Steak:
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Remove the turkey steak from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and nicely browned.
Simmer the Marinade:
Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet with the turkey steak.
Simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the turkey steak.
Serve:
Serve the teriyaki glazed turkey steak hot.
Optionally, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
