• 200ml milk
• 50ml water
• Pinch of salt
• Butter or oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Batter:
o In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt.
o In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and water until well combined.
o Gradually add the wet ingredients to the flour mixture, whisking continuously until you get a smooth batter. Let the batter rest for 10-15 minutes.
2. Cook the Pancakes:
o Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter or oil and swirl to coat the pan evenly.
o Pour a small ladleful of batter into the pan, swirling to spread it into a thin, even layer.
o Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown as well.
o Repeat with the remaining batter, stacking the cooked pancakes on a plate.
3. Serve the Palačinky:
o Fill each pancake with your choice of sweet or savory filling, such as fruit preserves, Nutella, whipped cream, or savory ingredients like cheese and ham.
o Roll up the pancakes or fold them into quarters.
o Optionally, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
