450 grams chicken breasts, thinly sliced
60 grams Greek yogurt (approx. 1/4 cup)
2 tablespoons olive oil (approx. 30 milliliters)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano (approx. 1 gram)
Juice of 1 lemon (approx. 30 milliliters)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Pita bread (4 pieces)
Tzatziki sauce, for serving

Instructions:
Prepare the Marinade:
In a bowl, mix 60 grams of Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons (approx. 30 milliliters) of olive oil, minced garlic, 1 teaspoon (approx. 1 gram) of dried oregano, the juice of 1 lemon (approx. 30 milliliters), salt, and pepper.
Marinate the Chicken:
Add 450 grams of thinly sliced chicken breasts to the marinade and toss to coat evenly.
Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.
Cook the Chicken:
Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Grill or cook the marinated chicken slices until cooked through and lightly charred.
Warm the Pita Bread:
Warm pita bread according to package instructions or on the grill/skillet for a few seconds on each side.
Assemble the Gyros:
Place grilled chicken slices in the warmed pita bread.
Top with tzatziki sauce and optional sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and shredded lettuce.
Serve:
