Ingredients :
8 oz (about 225 grams) lo mein noodles or spaghetti
1 cup mixed vegetables (about 150 grams, such as sliced bell peppers, broccoli florets, snap peas)
2 tablespoons soy sauce (30 ml)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional, 15 ml)
1 tablespoon sesame oil (15 ml)
2 cloves garlic, minced (6 grams)
1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional, about 2 grams)
Vegetable oil for stir-frying (about 15 ml)
Instructions:
o Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
o Heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger (if using), stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
o Add mixed vegetables to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
o Add cooked noodles to the skillet. Drizzle soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil over the noodles and vegetables. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
o Serve Vegetable Lo Mein hot, optionally garnished with chopped green onions or sesame seeds. Enjoy your delicious stir-fried noodles!
