Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients:
• 1 lb lamb or chicken, thinly sliced
• 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• Juice of 1 lemon
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Pita bread
• Tzatziki sauce
• Sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, shredded lettuce (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
2. Add thinly sliced lamb or chicken to the marinade, toss to coat evenly.
3. Marinate meat in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.
4. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Grill or cook meat slices until cooked through and lightly charred.
6. Warm pita bread.
7. Assemble gyros by placing grilled meat slices in warmed pita bread, top with tzatziki sauce, and optional sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce.
8. Roll up and serve hot.
