Recipe Instructions:
3 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Raisins
Red food coloring
Green food coloring
1 Cup Milk
1/2 Tablespoon Butter
21/4 Teaspoon Yeast (8g)
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Sugar
3/4 Teaspoon Salt
METHOD
Warm butter and milk set aside
Whisk 2 cups flour, salt, yeast and sugar
Add the milk butter mixture and mix, the batter will be pretty sticky at this point
Divide dough into 2 equal halves
Take one half and dived into two, you will end up with 3 parts of batter
Take the bigger piece (1/2 size) add red food coloring and raisins and the add flour and knead until it is no longer sticky
Take the second small pieces (1/4 size) add green food coloring, add flour and knead until dough is no longer sticky
Leave the third small piece as is just ass flour and knead until dough is no longer sticky
Cover each of the pieces (red, green, white) in individual bowls with a towel and set in a warm place for one hour until doubled in size
Form the red dough into a log the same size as your loaf pan set aside
Roll out the white dough into a big size the can cover the red dough. Completely cover the red dough with the white dough and seal the seams well
Roll out the green dough into a size that can cover the white dough. Completely cover the white dough with the green dough and seal the seams well
Place dough in your bread pan cover and let rise again until double in size
Preheat oven 350°F
Bake the bread for 35 minutes
Let the bread cool completely before slicing into it
Serve with your favorite drink
