Recipe Instructions:

Ingredients:
• 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 tablespoon shawarma seasoning (or a mix of cumin, paprika, turmeric, garlic powder)
• Whole-wheat pita bread
• Shredded lettuce
• Sliced tomatoes
• Tahini sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Rub chicken thighs with olive oil and shawarma seasoning.
3. Place chicken on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and slightly charred.
4. Slice chicken into strips.
5. Warm whole-wheat pita bread in the oven or on a skillet.
6. Fill each pita with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and roasted chicken strips.
7. Drizzle with tahini sauce.
8. Serve chicken shawarma hot.
