Recipe Instructions:

Hungarian Goulash
Ingredients:
• 1/2 lb beef stew meat, cubed
• 1/2 onion, chopped
• 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1 tablespoon tomato paste
• 1 tablespoon paprika (sweet or hot, according to preference)
• 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
• 1 cup beef broth
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• Cooked egg noodles, to serve
• Side salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber)
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in a small Dutch oven or pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add beef cubes and brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
3. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Stir in tomato paste, paprika, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
5. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook over low heat for 1.5 to 2 hours, until beef is tender, stirring occasionally.
6. Serve over cooked egg noodles with a side salad.
